Jobe’s Warranty Policy

We strive to make the best products in the world. We want to improve performance and make sure you always have fun with our products. In order to be able to improve our products, we need to update our database continually. That is why only the guarantee applications received on https://joe.jobesports.com will be processed.

Submitting your warranty is not a validation on itself and does not automatically mean that your product is covered by the warranty terms. Each warranty must be registered by following a specific procedure.

All warranties are treated by our Product Developers. With this approach, Product Developers can communicate directly with our suppliers. The aim is to reduce the number of guarantees and to manufacture the best products on the market. We believe that this strategy will result in even better products and services that will satisfy our customers and end consumers.

You will be informed within three working days whether your product qualifies for a warranty claim.

Warranty period Jobe product range (excluding Heavy Duty products)

The warranty is valid for a period of 2 years as of the invoice date of Jobe in case of a manufacturing error. The warranty is not applicable when the products are used for commercial purposes (rental).

Warranty period Jobe Heavy Duty products

Concerning the Heavy Duty range the only products which are covered by warranty, are Heavy Duty Towables and Heavy Duty Wakeboard Bindings. For these products you are entitled to a warranty up to 3 months as of the invoice date of Jobe. The warranty is valid in case of a manufacturing error.

3 Year Warranty

Because we believe in our products, we offer end consumers a 3 year warranty on towables and inflatable sups.

End consumers can claim this extended warranty by registering themselves online, within 2 weeks after purchasing a towable or inflatable sup board on our website https://www.jobesports.com/happycustomers. The end consumer has to create his own account and through this account the end consumer can submit the warranty application.

If the product contains a manufacturing defect within 3 years that matches with our warranty conditions, we will arrange a solution for the end consumer directly from Jobe Sports headquarters. This will save our dealers all the hassle that comes with a warranty which leaves them more time and energy to focus on selling Jobe products.

Evaluate the validity of the claim.

Excluded from coverage under warranty are the following:

  1. If the warranty period has expired;
  2. Products used for commercial goals;
  3. Close out products.
  4. The following damages:
    – Damage caused by anything other than defects in material or workmanship. All products are subject to normal wear and tear;
    – Damages due to impact, abuse, negligence or reactions to heat, solvents or harsh detergents;
    – Damage to Jobe products caused by non-Jobeproducts;
    – Damage caused by improper mounting or adjustment of the bindings; – Damage caused from kickers, sliders, rocks;

o Kickers and sliders
We fully understand you might damage your board or ski’s while practicing. However, we do hope you understand that damages caused from kickers and sliders are not covered by warranty, unless it concerns a manufacturing defect.

o Rocks
Discovering nature from a SUP board is what we like best! It’s just cool to experience the world from the water. We hope you try to avoid damage through sharp rocks during your trip. If your inflatable SUP board is damaged by a rock, please repair it with the repair kit. Unfortunately, these kind of damage is not covered by warranty, but the repair kit will help you solve the problem easily.

– Damage caused by use on non-Jobe hardware for mounting bindings; – Any and all claims for consequential or incidental damages.

Fill in the form at Joe and attach the requested pictures. Proof of purchase must be supplied to validate warranty. Please describe clearly what the problem is, (describe the problem clearly).

Make sure you completed all fields and send the claim in the form to us. Within 3 business days you will receive an answer from our customer service, please follow the instructions. During the entire process, they’ll keep you informed.

An approved warranty claim shall consist of a replacement of the product or the broken part which will be sent with your next order. A credit note will only be given in exceptional cases and will only be determined by Jobe Sports International.

Shipping

Before products are returned for warranty inspection, approval must first be given by e- mail. Ship products freight prepaid and insured. Jobe assumes no responsibility for products during shipment from the customer to our Warranty Department. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Shipping costs

All shipping costs associated with returning the product to Jobe Sports International is the responsibility of the dealer/distributor making the warranty claim. The costs of the return shipment to the claiming party will be borne by Jobe Sports International. Only ship a warranty to Jobe Sports International in agreement with our customer service. Please ensure the product is folded correctly to avoid creasing.

All coverage under this warranty is void if any modification, change or alteration has been made to the product and has not specifically been authorized in writing by Jobe.

Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty only.

Repaired items will be subject to available parts. Our team will do everything to give your exact product back and to match colors and styles but we cannot guarantee that you will receive the exact same product back. If you cannot get the original product back, of course, we will always discuss it with you first
