Environmental
Our operating procedures, standards and practices have been developed to ensure we leave no footprint behind from our activities. We regularly review our operational procedures with a local marine biologist to ensure we achieve zero impact to the surrounding environment. We are also involved in a coastal environmental group which carries out regular beach cleans and information sessions on the coastal environment around DE.
Neighbours and other area users
We pay particular emphasis on ensuring there is no impact to our neighbours or other water users during our activities. Our participants are instructed to give right away to all others both on and off the water and we do not allow our participants to manoeuvre our standup paddleboards until they can stop and control the boards themselves. We risk assess our routes on the water each day and monitor closely during our activities and we also set out exclusion zones to reduce any impact to other people in the water. We are also available to review our procedures with other water users if they have any concerns or questions and if required, we are always looking for ways to improve our safety controls. Please feel free to make contact anytime on these matters.
